Moving Weekend: Goodbye, House on Erie Avenue

This weekend, we are moving out of our apartment and into my sister & brother-in-law’s in Sharonville. It’s the end of an era. I’ve lived in this apartment for five years on my own and together for our first year of marriage. It’s where I learned to cook, hosted friends on the porch, and have been snowed in. It’s where Steven and I met up five years ago and began our relationship, where he surprised me on the porch when he returned from Australia, and where he proposed. Goodbye, House on Erie Avenue.

How “Fords Gone Walkabout” Came to Be

During my last week at Milford High School in Milford, Ohio, I posed the following question to my colleagues in the English Department: What should Steven and I name our blog?

Their ideas demonstrated the absurdity, silliness, brilliance, and wit that I experienced for seven years. Enjoy.
